Earth Class Mail Lands In West LA

Seattle-based startup Earth Class Mail has landed in Los Angeles, saying Monday that the firm has opened up shop on Santa Monica Boulevard for the firm's Internet mail service. Earth Class Mail -- which is venture backed by the Keiretsu Forum -- said the new location will help "entertainment-industry professionals and jet-setters" to gain a Hollywood area mail address. Earth Class Mail receives and digitized physical, postal mail for its users, allowing them to read their postal mail online, and request specific pieces of mail for delivery to their street address. The firm scans in every page of mail received by the firm, and also allows users to recycle, shred, or archive those mail items. According to Earth Class Mail, the new Los Angeles retail location will also provide onsite package pickup and shipping services. The new location is at 8605 Santa Monica Blvd, and comes in addition to addresses in Seattle, New York, and San Francisco. Earth Class Mail most recently raised $5.1M in a funding round in October.
