Elon Musk Proves People Will Buy Nearly Anything He Creates

Elon Musk appears to be proving that people will basically buy anything he creates, as a "flamethrower" put up for pre-order from Los Angeles-based Boring Company apparently has been hopping off the virtual shelves. Musk--who joked the flamethrower "Works against hordes of the undead or your money back!" and also joked the "flamethrower is sentient, its safe word is "cryptocurrency" and it comes with a free blockchain"--apparently has taken 7,000 pre-orders for the product. The Boring Company is working on digging a system of underground tunnels in Los Angeles, aimed at cutting traffic congestion, but Musk found thousands and thousands of people were willing to pay for hats with the company's logo on it back in November. The flamethrower is listed at $500, and according to the Boring Company "may not be used on Boring Company decorative lacquered hay bales or Boring Company dockside munitions warehouses".
