Energy Vault Holdings Hits NYSE

Westlake Village-based energy storage technology developer Energy Vault has hit the NYSE, saying this morning that it has begun trading on the stock exchange following a business combination with Novus Capital Corporation II. The company--spawned out of Idealab--is developing gravity-based energy storage system that involve storing potential energy in large, heavy cement, soil, coal ash and other heavy block modules, suspended by cranes. The company said it is now trading under the ticker symbols NRGV and NRGV WS. The compan is led by CEO Robert Piconi.
