    Entropic Inks Chinese Deals

San Diego-based Entropic Communications said yesterday that it has signed two deals to deploy its technology in China, including deals with firms BROWAN Communications and Actioncable. Entropic said BROWAN Communications will deploy its technology in Tianjin, Suzhou, and Guilin China, to provide its customers with high speed Internet connections, and ability to later add video and voice services. In a separate deal, Entropic disclosed that Actioncable will use the firm's technology in a deployment in SiChuan province. Financial terms of both deals were not disclosed. Entropic is a developer of semiconductors for last-mile, high speed broadband access.
