Epic Sciences Names Chief Commercial Officer

San Diego-based Epic Sciences, which develops a predictive test for drug response in prostate cancer, announced today that it has named Katherine Atkinson as its Chief Commercial Officer. Atkinson was most recently Vice President of Business Develompent at Edico Genome. She also has served at Illumina, Fisher Scientific, Thermo Fisher, and Beckman Coulter. Epic Sciences said Atkinson will identify new strategic business opportunities and deepen its existing strategic partnerships.
