Santa Barbara-based Internet advertising company Fastclick said this morning that it has begun offering Text Ads to its publishing and advertising clients. The new text ad format provides text-based ads similar to Google's AdWords program, and allows publishers to fit ads into a different format. Fastclick said that the ads can easily be fit into a publisher's web site by allowing them to make the ads any size they need. The new format comes on top of Fastclick's 10 other ad formats for Internet advertisers.
