FastSoft Gets Win
Pasadena-based FastSoft said Monday that it has signed on PAR Government Systems Corporation as a customer. FastSoft, which develops Internet acceleration products based on research spun out of Caltech, said that PAR will use the firm's technology to deliver geospatial files to federal government clients. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. FastSoft's technology is based on a proprietary implementation of the TCP protocol, which is designed to decrease trasnmission times of files across the Internet. The firm is venture backed by Miramar Venture Partners.
