Poway-based First Advantage, a provider of employment background screening, occupational health services, recruiting, business tax consulting, and other workforce management services, has been acquired by private equity firm Symphony Technology Group. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to First Advantage, the company will operate as a portfolio company of Symphony, with CEO Todd Mavis continuing to lead the company.
