Fisker Sets Up Shop In India

Los Angeles-based electric vehicle developer Fisker says it has set up shop in India, and has opened up a new headquarters for operations in India in Hyderabad. The company said it will open up an operating entity called Fisker Vigyan India Pvt Ltd, which will focus on software development and embedded electronics, virtual vehicle development support functions, data analytics, and machine learning. Fisker says it plans to create up to 200 jobs in the new location. Fisker currently has a team of around 450 employees, with plans to grow to 800 by the end of the year, according to the company.
