NetDNA Launches CDN Service For E-commerce Sites

Los Angeles-based content delivery network (CDN) provider NetDNA is targeting e-commerce site owners this morning with a new product, the company said. The firm said its new content delivery network service is aimed at e-commerce site owners, and offers up to 200 gigabytes of bandwidth for prices starting at $12.00 per month. The company said the new service is integrated with the latest version of e-commerce storefront software PrestaShop, which has more than 120,000 deployed storefronts. NetDNA also said the service also provides plug-ins for Drupal, WordPress, and SocialEngines. In a win for another, Southern California startup, it looks like NetDNA is offering up transport acceleration technology from Pasadena-based FastSoft as a part of the new service.
