Grindr Launches New Web UI

Los Angeles-based LGBTQ dating and hookup app Grindr said on Wednesday that has launched a new, beta web-based UI, which allows users to use a browser instead of an app. The company said the benefit of the web-based version includes bigger photos and makes it easier to chat with other users. The company said that Grindr Web Beta is the company's "first new technology platform in years." The company also said the advantage of the web also makes it easier for people who aren't out of the closet to use the service, without downloading the app and keeping it on their phone.
