GrubMarket Acquires LA's Rainfield Marketing Group

San Francisco-based GrubMarket, which develops food supply chain and e-commerce software, said this morning that it is acquiring Vernon-based Rainfield Marketing Group, a provider of fruits, vegetables, and Asian specialty items. Vernon is a suburb of Los Angeles. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Rainfield Marketing Group was founded in 2015, and was run by original owner Richard Choe. GrubMarket said that after the acquisition, the business will continue to be managed by its current leadership team, but will start using GrubMarket's own software-as-a-service platform.
