Pasadena-based Guidance Software, a provider of digital forensics tools, has upgraded the firm's Encase software. The company said today that version 6 of the company's product now supports 64-bit operating systems, Unicode support, and other features. The firm's software is used by law enforcement firms to analyze evidence on computers hard drives nondestructively.
