H2U Technologies Picks Up $11M For Green Hydrogen Effort

Los Angeles-based H2 Technologies, which is developing energy technology to produce green hydrogen, says it has raised $11M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Jerico Energy Ventures, Freeflow Ventures, VoLo Earth Ventures, and Hess Corporation. The company said it raised the first $7M of its Series A in 2021, from Jericho, Hess, Dolby Family Ventures and Motus Ventures. H2U Technologies is led by President and CEO Mark McGough. The company says it is developing new catalysts used to start or speed up the electrolysis of water into hydrogen and oxygen.
