IDrive Gets SOC Certification

Los Angeles-based cloud backup provider IDrive Backup says it has received a new certification for its line of products. According to the company, it has received SOC 2 Type 2 certification, conducted by a third party auditing firm, covering its IDrive Online Backup, IBackup, IDrive e2 Object Storage, IDrive 360 endpoint backup, IDrive BMR and RemotePC products. SOC is a certification for safeguarding customer data and account information.
