Impact Buys Mediarails

Santa Barbara-based Impact, which develops fraud protection, marketing attribution, partnership management, and related software, said today that it has acquired Mediarails, a developer of customer relationship management and marketing automation software. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Mediarails was based in Cologne, Germany. According to Impact, the dal will allow it to add full CRM and marketing automation capabilities to its existing offerings, helping its customer with the discovery, recruitment and engagement of influencers and new digital marketing partners. Impact, which is led by CEO David A. Yovanno, says it now has over 350 employees.
