    Ingram Micro Scores Distribution Deal With Google


    Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro has inked a distribution deal with Google, to distribute Google's enterprise search appliance. According to Google, the firm is partnering with Ingram Micro, a technology product distributor, to broaden its reach for the product. Google's enterprise search appliance, Google Search Appliance and Google Mini, are used by companies to provide Google-like search capabilities to internal documents and information. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Google said that the products are immediately available through Ingram's resellers in the U.S., with rollout to other regions scheduled through the end of 2007.
