Westlake Village-based Inphi, a provider of high speed semiconductors, said today that it is expanding into Silicon Valley with a new design center. Inphi said that the new design center will allow it to synchronize its development with its Silicon Valley partners and customers, and also capitalize on its talent and knowledge. Inphi said that it is looking to employ nearly 100 employees at the new location. The new Silicon Valley center will be headed by Ali Wehbi, who has previously served at Mobius Microsystems, ARM, Cypress, and other firms.
