IOGEAR Ties Into Tree Planting Nonprofit

Irvine-based IOGEAR announced Tuesday morning that the firm is partnering with Trees for the Future, a US-based non-profit focused on tree planting, as part of its green initiatives. According to IOGEAR, it will plant one tree for every product purchased on its web site or by members of its GREEN initiative partner program. Trees for the Future plants trees on lands damaged by deforestation. IOGEAR is a developer of KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) peripherals, and other computer products. The tree planting effort also joins recycling and environmentally friendly manufacturing efforts at the firm.
