Iomega Introduces Desktop Autoloader
San Diego-based Iomega has introduced a new desktop autoloader for its REV removable hard drives. The firm said today that its new desktop autoloader is targeted at small business backup and archive duties. Iomega's REV drives provide up to 35GB of storage. The company's new autoloader supports up to eight removable REV drives in a compact desktop form factor, and supports USB 2.0. The new autoloader is also bundled with CA BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows. Iomega's REV drive line is targeted at tape backup replacement.
