JAMDAT Shareholders Approve Acquisition By EA
Los Angeles-based JAMDAT said that its stockholders have approved its earlier announced acquisition by Electronic Arts. The firm said that its stockholders approved the acquisition Friday. The deal calls for each stockholder to receive $27.00 in cash for each JAMDAT share they own at close of the transaction. The total acquisition price is approximately $680M. The transaction is expected to close this month.
