Kareo Names New CFO

Irvine-based cloud software developer Kareo, which develops software used by independent medical practices to manage both clinical and business operations, has named a new CFO, and also appointed to new board members. According to Kareo, it has named David Justus as Chief Financial Officer, and added both Scott Maxwell and David Cozzens to its board. Justus previously was CFO of Avetta, and also served at The Retail Equation and Arthur Andersen. Maxwell is Senior Managing Director of OpenView Venture Partners, and Cozzens was previously the CEO of Telogis. Kareo's existing board members include Travis Kalanick, the founder of Uber; Kareo's founder, Dan Rodriguez, co-founded Scour with Kalanick before Uber.
