Keysight Technologies' HQ Finally Back In Operation

Keysight Technologies--the parent company of Calabasas-based Ixia--said today that its headquarters in Santa Rosa are finally back up and running, after being closed due to the devastating Northern California wildfires in early October. Keysight's headquarters were nearly destroyed when fire overran the community of Santa Rosa, and stopped in Keysight's parking lot--though not before destroying Hewlett-Packard's historical archives--which were housed in a modular building in that parking lot. Keysight said all four of its main building are intact, and majority of production-related facilities are now in operation. Keysight did say that building interiors experienced smoke and other fire-related environmental impacts, and that, for now, it has leased other nearby space before employees will be moving back into offices. Ixia--which was acquired by Keysight in April--was not directly impacted by the fires, and Keysight's operations are spread across the globe. Keysight was a spinout of Agilent, which itself was a spinout of Hewlett Packard.
