Last Original Animatronic Chuck E. Cheese Band Will Be In Northridge

The last, animatronic band from the pizza and arcade entertainment chain Chuck E. Cheese will be in Northridge, California, according to the restaurant chain--as the chain is phasing out the "Munch's Make Believe Band" at all of its other locations. The chain--now based in Texas--said that the location will become the nation's only Chuck E. Cheese fun center to feature an original animatronic band. Chuck E. Cheese was founded in 1977 by Atari's co-founder, Nolan Bushnell, who has since settled in the Los Angeles area, and has been an active angel investor; his son, Brent Bushnell, is also a local Los Angeles area entrepreneur, having most recently been working on Two Bit Circus.
