    Linksys Ships... iPhone

Irvine-based Linksys said today that it is shipping a new line of voice over IP based telephony systems called the iPhone. The new equipment will provide voice-over-IP support for voice over IP applications such as Skype and Yahoo Messenger, and will also include landline phone connectivity. The launch comes after a much-rumored launch of voice over IP products under the same name from Apple Computer, which popularized the use of i-products with its iTunes and iPod products. Linksys is a division of Cisco Systems.
