LogMeIn Buys Jive Communications For $342M

LogMeIn--which has significant operations in Santa Barbara, due to its acquisition of the Citrix GoToAssist, GoToMeeting, GoToMyPC, GoToTraining, GoToWebinar, and other businesses in 2016--has acquired Jive Communications, a developer of cloud-based phone systems for the Unified Communications (UC) market. LogMeIn announced the acquisition on Thursday morning. The deal was worth $342M in cash, plus another $15M in cash contingency payments, according to LogMeIn. Jive Communications was based in Orem, Utah.
