San Diego-based Loop'd Network, which operates online social network sites for sports, said this morning that it has launched a new community focused on skiers. The company said that the new online community is focused on helping skiers find sponsorships and enter contests from companies. Loop'd Network operates an online site that allows athletes to upload videos of themselves and win chances at getting sponsorship deals; the site is an offshoot of SponsorHouse.com. Initial companies involved with the ski site include Monster Energy and Oakley.
