Make It Work Receives $1M Angel Funding

Santa Barbara-based Make It Work reports that the company has raised over $1M in a Series A-1 venture funding from the Tech Coast Angels. Make It Work provides home computer and small business service and support. Make It Work will use the funding to expand its business and to hire, train, and retain its technicians. As part of the deal, John Harbison of the TCA will join the board. Make It Work reported that the funding came from all four Southern California chapters of the TCA. The funding is the latest in a string of angel fundings from the TCA, which has been particularly active in the last few quarters. The TCA has invested in CUPIM, MindBody Software, ORFID, and Airsis all within the last few months.
