MEI Pharma Names COO

San Diego-based MEI Pharma announced this morning that it has named David M. Urso, J.D, as the company's new Chief Operating Officer. Urso was most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at the company. Urso has been at MEI Pharma since March of 2014, and also served at Tioga Pharmaceuticals, was a venture capitalists at Forward Ventures, and also had been at DNA Sciences, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati LLP and Cooley Godward LLP, plus SmithKline Beecham and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.
