    Microsoft Continues Lindows Offensive

Microsoft is continuing its legal fight against San Diego-based Lindows, and has filed a suit in Amsterdam to force Lindows to remove the Lindows name from the company's Linspire.com web site, discontinue access to Lindows web site from the country, and the payment of $100K a day in fines for failing to do so. Lindows had previously lost a suite in Amsterdam where the judge found Lindows to be too common to the name Windows.
