    MindTouch Looks To Convert Users

San Diego-based MindTouch, which develops open source wiki software, said Thursday that it has announced three new converters targeted at helping its users move from Mediawiki, Atlassian Confluence, and IBM Lotus Notes. The firm said that the new converters enable users to convert over to the firm's wiki software from the competing software. MediaWiki is the open source wiki software used to run the Wikipedia online encyclopedia site, and Lotus Notes is heavily used by enterprises for their corporate collaboration. In addition, MindTouch said it has added a new plugin which allows for easy publishing of documents from Microsoft Word to its software.
