Morpheus Space Finds $28M In Series A

Los Angeles-based Morpheus Space, which is developing space propulsion technology, says it has raised $28M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Alpine Space Ventures, and also included Morpheus Ventures, Vsquared Ventures, Lavrock Ventures, Airbus Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Pallas Ventures, and Techstars Ventures. The company said the new funding will towards a manufacturing and a factory in Dresden, Germany. Morpheus Space is led by CEO and co-founder Daniel Bock.
