    Napster Certifies Portable Devices


    Los Angeles-based Napster has certified a new set of portable devices for use with its music download service, adding the Palm Treo 650 Smartphone, Rio, and Samsung devices to its growing list of certified players. The legal file download service said that the company has rigorously tested and certified the devices. The certifications now include support for Rio's Carbon, Carbon Pearl, ce2100, and ce2110 line and Samsung's YH-820, YH-925, and YH-999 devices, in addition to other certified MP3 players.
