Neurocrine Lays Off 100 In San Diego
San Diego-based Neurocrine Biosicences, a biopharmaceuticals firm that is developing treatments for insomnia, anxiety, depression, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, and CNS related disorders, said Monday that it is making staff reductions of approximately 100 employees as its San Diego campus. The layoffs reduce the firm's staff there to approximately 280 employees. Neucrine said that the move is a part of its restructuring programs to prioritize research and development programs.
