Neven Vision Names CEO

Santa Monica-based Neven Vision has named a new CEO, the company said Wednesday. Alex Cory will serve as its CEO, having most recently served as an advisor to early stage businesses. Cory also was executive vice president at Overture Services. Current CEO and founder Harmut Neven will step into the CTO role at the firm and focus on leading the development of its core technology and products. Neven Vision develops image recognition technology, and has recently started focusing the technology on the mobile marketing space.
