    Neven Vision Joins TI Network

Los Angeles-based Neven Vision (www.nevenvision.com) said yesterday that it has joined the Texas Instruments (TI) Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Third Party Network. The company's facial recognition software now runs on Texas Instrument's TMS320C6000 and TMS320C5000 digital signal processing platforms. Neven Vision's facial analysis compact software is designed to run on digital signal processing hardware and fit into a small footprint, enabling the use of facial recognition in applications with less processing power and memory, such as handheld PDAs and phones. Neven Vision is backed by Anthem Ventures.
