Los Angeles-based online electronics and technology retailer NewEgg said Friday that it has opened up a new warehouse and shipping facility in Indianapolis, as part of an effort to better serve the Midwestern U.S. NewEgg said the new warehouse is nearly a half million square feet, and will initially handle more than 5,000 products and 3,000 orders per day. NewEgg said that--as it puts more of the facility into operation--it expect it will be able to process more than 12,000 orders every day out of the facility. The company said it expects the new location to help improve delivery times to customers in llinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
