Friday, September 28, 2007Buzznet Expands Sales TeamHollywood-based Buzznet, an online social media and music-focused social networking site, said earlier this week that it has expanded its advertising sales team. The firm said it has hired Jennifer Balch, Dina Bloch, and Andrea Greifenberger to its ad sales team. Balch joins from MySpace, where she was an early employee. Bloch comes from NationalGeographic.com; and Greifenberger from Time, Inc. Buzznet is venture backed by Anthem Ventures and Redpoint.

Cornerstone OnDemand Hires European GMSanta Monica-based Cornerstone OnDemand has hired a new General Manager for the firm's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operations, the firm said earlier this week. The firm, which just raised $32M in a venture funding last week, said that Vincent Belliveau will oversee all of the firm's EMEA operations. Belliveau was most recently at IBM, where he was North east Europe Director of its Master Data Management and Information Integration Solutions group.
