Internet Brands Lowers IPO Offering Price, Size
El Segundo-based Internet Brands disclosed today in a filing with the SEC that it has lowered its offering price on its IPO to $8.00 per share, and also lowered the number of shares the firm hopes to offer to the public. The firm, which had initially priced its IPO at between $10.00 and $12.00 per share, also said it would only offer 6 million shares of the firm, down from 9.5 million shares. Kintera Signs Lending Club
San Diego-based Kintera, a provider of online services for nonprofit groups, said earlier this week that Lending Club, a person-to-person lending service, has become a partner of the firm. Lending Club has joined Kintera's Connect Partner Program, the firm's application integration support effort for developers. According to Kintera, the partnership will allow Lending Club to use its Alumni Engagement Center software to help link lenders with borrowers. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Blowtorch Gets $50M For New Media Studio
Blowtorch Entertainment said this morning that it has raised $50M in a venture capital round to create a new media company, which will develop both online and other content. The firm, which is dual-headquartered in San Francisco and Los Angeles, said the round of funding came from Ignition Partners and others. Slacker Launches Premium Service, Hardware
San Diego-based personalized music streaming firm Slacker said Thursday that it has launched its premium services, and announced its first personalized radio players. The firm, which operates a service which allows web users to create their own "personal" radio stations said that it will begin shipping its Slacker Portable Radio Player in December; units are available for pre-order now, and start at $199.99. iRent2u Takes On Online Rentals
Los Angeles-based iRent2u, a small startup created by winners of the 2007 Pepperdine Business Plan Competition, said this morning that it has launched an online marketplace for anyone to lend anything they own. The new service allows people to list anything they own for rental, handles inventory management, contracts, and reservations. Among the small number of listings currently on the firm's web site are golf clubs, electronics, and private jet charters.

FastCall411 Launches Mobile Site
Los Angeles-based FastCall411, a provider of local search services, said earlier this week that it has launched a new, wireless application protocol (WAP) web site. The firm said that the WAP site is available for free, and provides simultaneously calling to multiple local merchants. FastCall411's services are used to connect people looking for merchants through the telephone.

Continuous Computing Adds Sales VP
San Diego-based Continuous Computing said this week that it has added Brian Brown as Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Operations. Brown joins the firm from Terawave Communications, and has also served at Alcatel, Optical Solutions, and Harris Broadcast Communications Division. Continuous Computing is a provider of telecom equipment.
