AudioMicro Rolls Another iPhone App
Los Angeles-based AudioMicro.com, the online stock audio firm venture backed by DFJ Frontier, announced Friday that it has rolled out its second iPhone application. According to the firm, its new AudioMicro Lite application provides access to more than 50 professional sound effects which can be played on a user's iPhone. The new application is a free download. The company said users of the iPhone app can upgrade to a full version of the application--which it released in April--for 99 cents. Audi (More info...)

Gorilla Nation Signs Three New Customers
Los Angeles-based Gorilla Nation, a provider of ad representation services to the online media industry, disclosed Friday that the firm is now delivering video publishing, delivery, syndication, and ad management for eBaumsWorld.com, Bossip.com, and Rock.com. Financial impact of the deals were not disclosed. Gorilla Nation said the customers are using its service Springboard Video, a set of video content management tools and ad products.

AtomicOnline Relaunches GameRevolution
Los Angeles-based AtomicOnline, which operates a number of online content sites, said this morning that it has relaunched its online gaming site, GameRevolution. AtomicOnline said it has completed a "major website redesign" and partnered with other leading gaming websites to makeover the site, which it acquired in February of last year.

VIZIO Opens Facility In South Dakota
Irvine-based VIZIO, a manufacturer of HDTV and other consumer electronics, said this week that it has opened up a new Sales and Marketing center in North Sioux City, South Dakota. The firm said the new call center facility will provide customer support and direct sales. VIZIO said that the facility will initially employ 25, and is expected to grow to 45 by the end of 2009. VIZIO said many of the staff are formerly Gateway employees; one of the firm's major investors is Gateway founder Ted Waitt.
