Novatel Wireless Powers Virgin Mobile Service
San Diego-based Novatel Wireless is behind this week's launch of Virgin Mobile USA's nationwide 3G wireless Internet service, providing the hardware behind the new service. Virgin Mobile said that it would provide prepaid, broadband connectivity with its new service, which will offer users the ability to buy broadband access via 3G wireless, through re-loadable, prepaid cards. Servoy Releases Update
Thousand Oaks-based Servoy, a developer of software for creating web-based applications, said Friday that the firm has upgraded its products. The firm said its product allows companies to build software applications that run both through a browser and through native desktop applications. The firm said the latest update, version 4.1, includes over 350 enhancements and fixes.
