The firm said its new BiCMOS RFIC is scheduled for delivery in early 2010, and provides a fully integrated, RF front-end for wireless networks in the Bluetooth, WLAN, 802.11n/MIMO, Zigbee, WiMAX, WHDI, and mobile phone (CDMA/WCDMA/EDGE/Evolved EDGE/LTE-3G/GSM) markets.

Broadcom To Pay $160.5M to Settle Class Action LawsuitIrvine-based Broadcom reported Tuesday that the firm has agreed to settle a class action, securities lawsuit against the firm, in exchange for a $160.5M cash payment. The lawsuit was related to stock options backdating. As part of the settlement, Broadcom said it continues to deny any liability or wrongdoing.
