Law Firm Behind $2.2B Chinese Software Piracy Suit Claims Attacks
Los Angeles-based Gibson Hoffman & Pancione, the law firm representing Santa Barbara-based Cybersitter in a $2.2 billion, software piracy suit against China, claimed Wednesday evening that the firm has come under attack from servers within China. According to the law firm, has been receiving targeted, customized Trojan emails, which were specifically targeted at retrieving data from their computers. Citrix Online Adds Mac Support
Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online, which develops the GoToMyPC remote PC access software, announced Wednesday that it has released support for Mac users on the software package. The firm said the firm's newest release allows both Windows and Mac users to access a remote Mac or Windows PC. The firm said the Mac support comes in version 7.0 of its GoToMyPC package, and is the first time it has supported Apple's operating system in the service.

Homestore's Wolff Pleads Guilty
Stuart Wolff, the former CEO and Chairman of the board of Homestore.com, plead guilty Tuesday to participating in a scheme to artificially inflate the firm's online advertising revenue. Wolff had agreed to plead guilty last week, in a deal which calls for a sentence of at least three years and up to a maximum of five years in federal prison. LiveOffice Links With Intermedia
Los Angeles-based LiveOffice, a provider of hosted email archiving services, said today that the firm has linked with Microsoft Exchange hosting provider Intermedia. According to the two companies, they will offer a cloud-based, email archiving solution for hosted Exchange 2010. Business details behind the arrangement were not disclosed by the companies. The firms did not release pricing on the new offering.

Power-One: Manufacturing Not Affected By Haiti Earthquake
Camarillo-based Power-One, a manufacturer of power supplies and related products, said Wednesday that the firm's manufacturing operations in the Dominican Republic were not affected by the earthquake that hit Haiti yesterday. According to Power-One, there was "no material damage" to the facility, and that operations were unaffected at its plant. CyberDefender Sees Boost From Anti-Malware Products
Los Angeles-based CyberDefender, a developer of PC security, antispyware, and antivirus software, reported today that the firm saw a boost in sales in Q4, boosted by its anti-malware products. The firm said it saw unaudited cash receipts grow to $9.8M for the fourth quarter, or 128% over fourth quarter of 2008, when it saw $4.3M in cash received. Tsavo Enhances Daymix
Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, which is developing software which helps to make web sites more relevant to their visitors, announced today that it has added a new feature to match relevant stories with users on its Daymix information portal. Realtor.com Launches iPhone App
Los Angeles-based Realtor.com, the online real estate site run by Move.com for the National Association of Realtors, announced this morning that it has launched a new real estate search iPhone application. Occam Expands Win At Ohio Telephone Firm
Santa Barbara-based Occam Networks, a developer of broadband equipment for the telecom industry, reported this morning that it has expanded its deployment of equipment with Ohio telecom firm Wabash Mutual Telephone. Occam said that Wabash, which had already been deploying its ADSL2Plus equipment, is expanding its deployment of its FTTP equipment. Financial details of the additional deployment was not disclosed. Wabash has been using Occam since 2005.
