RightSignature's Competition Acquired By Adobe
One of Santa Barbara-based RightSignature, a provider of software-as-a-service, electronic signature services, has been acquired by software giant Adobe. Adobe said Monday morning that it has acquired EchoSign, an electronic signature competitor of RightSignature. Financial details of that acquisition were not disclosed.

Fandango Launches Apps On Samsung TV, Blu-Ray Players
Los Angeles-based Fandango, the online movie guide and ticket site, said today that it has launched a new app which runs on Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Blu-ray players. Fandango said its Fandango Movies app allows users to watch HD movie trailers on-demand directly from the Samsung devices. Fandango has tapped Related Content Database, inc. NextWave Considers Bankruptcy
San Diego-based NextWave Wireless, the holder of wireless spectrum licenses, is considering bankruptcy, as it continues to have issues renegotiating with its lenders. According to a filing with the SEC, the firm has informed its creditors of possible bankruptcy rights, as it has so far failed to renegotiate terms with its first lien holders. TouchCommerce Wins Virgin Mobile France
Agoura Hills-based TouchCommerce, a provider of online chat and sales conversion services for e-commerce retailers, reports today that Virgin Mobile France has implemented the firm's live assistance solution. Size of the win was not announced. Virgin Mobile France is the fourth-largest mobile operator in the region, according to the two firms. Nimble Hits Google Apps Marketplace
Los Angeles-based Nimble, the contact management and tracking software firm headed by former Goldmine founder Jon Ferrara, has rolled out in the Google Apps Marketplace. Nimble develops software which allows users to track their interaction with contacts, including emails, social networking contacts, and more. Move Buys SocialBios
Online real estate site Move said this morning it has acquired SocialBios, a developer of an online business referral and social search startup. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. SocialBios allows companies and individuals to create interactive "About" pages, which integrate Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other sites. Move is based in Campbell, California, with operations in Thousand Oaks. Socialbios is based in Denver.

Universal Electronics Sues Logitech
Cypress-based Universal Electronics, the developer of wireless control technology and remotes, said Friday that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Logitech. Universal Electronics said the suit claims infringement of seventeen of its patents relating to remote control technology. Universal has sued Logitech Inc., Logitech International S.A., and Logitech Europe S.A. in the United States District Court, Central District of California. CalAmp Sells Patents
Oxnard-based CalAmp Corp. has sold off a number of patents relating to the repossession of automobiles, according to buyer ProconGPS. Financial details of the deal were not announced. ProconGPS said it has acquired patents covering repossession of automobiles in the vehicle finance industry from CalAmp, relating to the use of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology in tracking vehicles, to make it easier to confiscate and repossess those vehicles in a loan default.

Amgen Resolves Patent Suit With Teva
Thousand Oaks-based Amgen said Friday afternoon that it has resolved a patent litigation suite with Teva. The firm said that the United States District Court in Pennsylvania has issued a final judgement and permanent injunction against Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, prohibiting them from infringing on its patents for human g-CSF. Amgen said the deal will hold off production of Teva's products until November 10, 2013.

SRS Labs Ships With Westinghouse Digital
Santa Ana-based SRS Labs said today that its surround sound technology is shipping with a new LED HDTV from Westinghouse Digital. The firm said Westinghouse is using its SRS TruSurround HD audio on its HDTV line. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. SRS develops surround sound and other audio processing technology.

BeyondTrust Names Engineering VP
Carlsbad-based BeyondTrust, a developer of enterprise security software, said Friday that it has named Geoff Charron as Vice President of Engineering.
