Rexter Named Part Of Microsoft Accelerator Class
Altadena-based Rexter, the developer of real time contact and relationship management software led by technology veteran Andy Wilson, has been named one of the fourteen companies in the upcoming Microsoft Digital Work Accelerator. Rexter's software--which runs across mobile platforms, tablets, and PCs--helps consolidate and manage their contacts from across social networking sites and email, and helps users manage those contacts and activities. Space Startups Spur New Legal Specialty: Space Lawyer

GoDaddy IPO Set For End Of March
GoDaddy, the parent firm of LA's Media Temple, is aiming at pricing its IPO on March 31st, according to documents circulating to investors as part of its IPO process. GoDaddy recently set the pricing range for its IPO at between $17.00 and $19.00 per share, and looks to list on the NYSE as GDDY. Media Temple has been a part of GoDaddy's push into the small business market, since its acquisition in 2013. GoDaddy is owned by private equity firms KKR, Silver Lake, and Technology Crossover Ventures.

Tastemade: Our Content Better Than Ads
Santa Monica-based food show producer Tastemade, the venture-backed Youtube show developer, said that it has conducted a brand research study, which finds that brands that integrate into content do far better with viewers than those who use typical advertising. Yardi Signs Retirement Living Operator
Santa Barbara-based Yardi, developer of property management software, reported a win ysterday with Vantage Point Retirement Living. According to Yardi, the senior living provider is using its Yardi Senior Living Suite for its operations. Financial impact and size of the win was not announced. Yardi's software is being used by the operator for marketing, finance, community operations, and resident care management.
