    Nirvanix In Deal With CDN Firm


    San Diego-based Nirvanix said yesterday that it has inked a strategic partnership with content deliver network (CDN) firm CDNetworks. According to Nirvanix, which provides online storage-as-a-service, CDNetworks' customers will be able to store unlimited content on the Nirvanix service. Financial details of the arrangement were not announced. CDNetworks is a provider of content deliver network services for online video and data files. Nirvanix is a provider of online storage, available programmatically through an application programming interface; the firm competes head to head with Amazon's S3 storage services. Nirvanix is venture backed by European Founders Fund, Intel Capital, Mission Ventures, Valhalla Partners and Windward Ventures.
