Orbee Gets $4M Funding

Irvine-based Orbee, which provides technology services to the automotive industry, has raised $4.0 in a Series A funding round. The funding came from FM Capital, along with Holman Enterprises, Flow Automotive Companies and Pohanka Automotive Group plus automotive retailers Mills Automotive Group, Qvale Auto Group, Basil Family Dealerships and angel investor Ron Frey. Orbee is led by co-founder and CEO Atul Patel. The company says it is developing middleware which brings "together all of a dealership's data sources in a centralized platform that empowers automotive dealerships to manage and leverage their own data."
