San Diego-based radio frequency chipmaker Peregrine Semiconductor said Monday afternoon that it is in a intellectual property deal with Murata. Peregrine said it is in the midst of a collaboration agreement with Murata, where Murata would design and manufacture RF switches and other switch-related components utilizing its technology and intellectual peroperty. Financial details of the relationship were not announced. The companies said the deal is expected to result in an expanded source of supply for Peregrine's RF components.
