Phishing Is Easy, With Users Falling For Many Threats, Says CUJO AI

Los Angeles-based cybersecurity software provider CUJO AI says that 56 percent of Internet users are falling for phishing scams, according to a new report from the company. According to the company, 56% of Internet users try to open at least one phishing link every month, based on its tracking of anonymized threat data from 1.8 billion connected devices. The company highlighted the data in its annual cybersecurity threat report, which also found that cybercriminals are taking advantage of users with end-of-life, unsupported devices, as well as specific devices with known holes: the company said it found that 98 percent of all baby mnonitor hacks are happening on the devices of a single vendor.
