Winnetka-based Phone Power, a provider of voice-over-IP calling services, has released a new Android app, which it says allows Android smartphone users to make international calls for "little to nothing". The provider of residential and business voice-over-IP services said the Android app provides a reduced cost for making international, VoIP cals from a smartphone, and follows the release earlier of a similar, iPhone app. Phone Power did not say how much international calling would be in the app; the firm's iPhone version offers up 60 minutes of free international calling before asking users to pay for calling time.
